Most kids have tried, and love, Entenmann’s Little Bites Fudge Brownies. But have you seen the ingredient list? Palm oil, chocolate liquor, artificial flavor, and a long list of other ingredients I can’t even pronounce.
This Little Bites Fudge Brownies copycat recipe uses real chocolate and ingredients you might already have in your pantry and fridge! These homemade little bites snacks offer a delicious taste kids will love, with the added benefit of knowing you’re giving your kids a healthier option at the perfect size.
The Players for Little Bites Fudge Brownies
Ingredients:
- Coconut Oil – To make these little bites fudge brownies healthier, we’re ditching the vegetable oil and soybean oil for melted coconut oil. You can also use melted butter or avocado oil if you prefer!
- Sugar – Plain white sugar is what you’ll need for this easy recipe.
- Eggs – To make these brownies moist, you’ll need three room-temperature eggs.
- Vanilla – Vanilla extract will bring sweetness and warmth to these delicious brownies.
- Flour – You’ll need white all-purpose flour.
- Cocoa Powder – To get that rich, chocolate flavor, you’ll need cocoa powder.
- Baking Powder – Using baking powder will help our mini brownies to rise and will help result in a chewy brownie.
- Salt – This will bring all of the flavors together.
Tools:
- Mini Muffin Tin – To make these bite-sized mini brownies, you’ll need a Mini Muffin Pan. While I prefer to spray the pan with non-stick spray, you can also use Mini Muffin Liners if you’d like!
How to Make Copycat Little Bites Fudge Brownies
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and spray your mini muffin pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add your melted and cooled coconut oil, along with your sugar, and mix well.
Whisk in your eggs, along with the vanilla extract.
Add all of the dry ingredients and mix well.
Using a spoon, fill your muffin cups up halfway and bake in the oven for 12 minutes. Allow the little bites fudge brownies to cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before removing them from the pan. Place them on a cooling rack to cool completely.
Storage, Freezing, and Thawing Instructions
To store your mini fudge brownies, place them into an airtight container or wrap them with plastic wrap. Keep them on your counter for up to 4 days.
To freeze, place your cooled brownie bites in a single layer on a baking sheet or cooling rack. Freeze the brownies for about 1-2 hours until they are firm. Once frozen, transfer the brownies to a freezer-safe container or freezer-gallon bag. They will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To defrost, thaw the mini fudge brownies in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a couple of hours.
