Ingredients:

  • Old Fashioned Oats – Use any old-fashioned oats to make this easy homemade granola recipe. I’ve been loving these Organic Sprouted Oats!
  • Chopped Nuts – I’ll be using chopped walnuts in this easy granola recipe, but feel free to use what you have on hand! Keep scrolling to discover more delicious add-ins!
  • Pumpkin Seeds – My kids and I love using pumpkin seeds!  It’s not only packed with nutrients but makes this a lovely, crunchy granola.
  • Coconut Oil – I use melted unrefined coconut oil to bind everything together but you can also use extra virgin olive oil (which will give it a slightly more savory flavor) or melted butter.
  • Maple Syrup – Using real maple syrup in this healthy homemade granola is an excellent way to naturally sweeten it.
  • Honey – The combination of honey and maple syrup together tastes fantastic in this homemade healthy granola recipe.  Or feel free to only use maple syrup or only use honey!
  • Vanilla Extract – Pure vanilla extract enhances the flavor with a subtle sweetness and warmth.
  • Spices – You’ll need ground cinnamon and nutmeg for this great recipe!

Let the granola cool before storing.

Place the baking sheet on a cooling rack and allow the granola to come to room temperature.  Break up the granola, if desired.  I love clumpy granola, so I leave some larger chunks.
