Soft & Chewy Monster Cookies with M&M's Recipe

These soft M&M Monster Cookies are loaded with chocolate chips, smooth peanut butter, and oatmeal that will be enjoyed by everyone!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup m&m candies

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla together until well combined. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add in the peanut butter and mix well. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and M&M's to the mixing bowl.
  • Use 2-3 tablespoons-full of dough to form cookie dough balls and place them on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake the cookies for 10–11 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown.

Storage, Freezing, and Baking Tips

To Store:

Store leftover Monster Cookies with M&M’s in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days

To Freeze:

You can also freeze the cookie dough balls before baking. Scoop the dough into balls and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze until solid, then transfer them to a freezer bag. 

To Bake from Frozen:

When ready to bake, place the frozen cookie dough balls onto a prepared baking sheet and bake as directed, adding 1-2 extra minutes to the bake time.
