Chicken Bacon Ranch Bake (Easy Casserole Recipe)

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 chicken breasts
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese block, softened
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning packet or homemade
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups shredded cheese, divided mozzarella, cheddar, Monterey jack
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.  Add your chicken breasts to the dish and season them with salt and pepper.  Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook 5 slices of bacon over medium-high heat. Place cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate.  Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, mayonnaise, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  • Chop your cooked bacon and mix the bacon crumbles into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread the creamy ranch mixture over the tops and sides of the chicken breasts. Top the mixture with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Place into your preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with green onions if preferred. Serve over penne pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or with a fresh green salad.  Enjoy!
