The Best Brioche Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

This buttery on the inside and crispy on the outside Brioche French Toast makes an absolutely delicious breakfast that comes together so quickly.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Slices Brioche bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Dash salt
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl or shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, flour, milk, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter into electric skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  • Dunk slices of brioche bread into the custard mixture, ensuring all sides of bread has been coated.
  • Place slices of bread into electric skillet and fry on one side for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle over additional cinnamon if you'd like.
  • Flip over the slices of french toast and cook the other side for 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve warm with your choice of toppings. Enjoy!
