Easy Slow Cooker Smoky Pulled Pork

This easy Slow Cooker Smoky Pulled Pork is a wonderful solution to feeding a large group or for busy weeknights!

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce (18 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 8 club rolls or hamburger buns, toasted

Instructions
 

  • In a slow cooker that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, add in your pork shoulder.
  • Add to your slow cooker the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, dark brown sugar, yellow mustard, worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and liquid smoke.
  • Cover and cook for 10-12 hours on the low setting*
  • Remove shoulder bone and shred the pork.
  • Serve with toasted club rolls or hamburger buns.

Notes

*If you want your sauce to be slightly thicker once it's done cooking, take the lid off and allow to cook for an additional 30 minutes on the High setting without the lid on the slow cooker.
