This Copycat Isaac's Pepperjack Tomato Soup Recipe is creamy and rich with a slightly zippy twist from the pepper jack cheese.

To start, first pulse together diced onions and minced garlic to create a smooth consistency.

Saute your onion mixture in a large pot with melted butter for a few minutes.

To your butter and onions, add in some flour to create a roux and cook for 1 minute.

To your roux, add in an entire can of tomato paste and incorporate it well.  It will be thick!

Add in chicken broth, vegetable broth or water to your tomato paste and roux.

Pour in 5 cans of condensed tomato soup, along with a can of diced tomatoes.

Add in your Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and basil to the pot and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.

Once 10 minutes is up, add in your heavy cream or half and half to the soup pot.

Toss in your shredded pepperjack cheese and mix well to melt the cheese in the soup.
