Set your Instant Pot to Saute and melt down your butter.

To your melted butter, saute your diced onions, celery, and carrots. This is called a Mirepoix.

With the Instant Pot still on Saute, begin to brown and cook your lean ground beef.

To your Instant Pot, add in your beef broth or beef stock.
